The Mystery Topic Challenge Topic Announcement

Welcome to Jestertunes! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Feel free to leave a comment, read through the archives, and enjoy yourself. See you again real soon!

What’s that behind you? Are those sleigh bells you hear? Did you see something? I think it was wearing red…could it be the Christmas Ninja? Happy Holidays from the BlogNinjas. They are the crazy internet group behind the MTC. The members rock the blogosphere in varying degrees, and can sneak up behind you in a moments notice. You can join the clandestine group after undergoing a severe and heavily scrutinized Blog Ninja review that verifies your actual existence and BN worthiness (basically, we read your blog). Post an entry, vote, maybe win, and you may be selecting the next topic. It’s like a blog party.

The topic, chosen by my good friend Scott is: “What are your favorite holiday traditions, and why?”

The posting deadline is Sunday, Dec 9th.

Every Christmas my Dad would whip up his special eggnog out of bourbon and ice cubes. My mom would make ginger bread men with quaaludes for buttons. Grandma would tell stories about how she almost had an abortion when pregnant with dad, which of course makes her laugh so hard she wets herself, but we don’t care, cuz it’s christmas time! I’d sneak upstairs and make out with cousin Abernathy…. tis the season!

I love your Christmas site, but I have to ask- Is that an anus on the mouth of your JesterTunes character?

I’m so glad to see you taking part! Can’t wait to read your entry. You’re a ninja now, baby!

Hee hee… Liz is wondering the same thing I was.

hello - Sadly, my favorite holiday traditions do not involve ninjas. Just midgets.

Lee - Can I look forward to another box of your mother’s fantastic ginger bread men this year? They make the holidays with my family incredibly enjoyable.

Liz - You should know by now that those are interchangeable around here.

Scott - I’ve always been a ninja. I’m just so good you didn’t know it before. And you’ve made your thoughts about my butt-faced jester well known in the past.:D

one of my favorite bars has a midget who comes out of this little house at the end of the bar & pours a shot into everyone’s mouth whenever someone gives teh bartender ten bucks or whatever it is. he is the coolest guy. rides a stick pony around the bar, slappin his ass, slides down a stripper pole, throws napkins into the fan, etc. i only kissed him once.

ANYhow, start a new christmas tradition and come to pittsburgh. we have snow and midgets…what else do you need to feel all chrismassy?

hello - The coolest midget runs around a bar with a bottle and stick pony? What does he wear? Pittsburgh is too cold. I don’t do snow and cold anymore. That’s why I’m in California.
