What does whiskey, hair dye, and World of Warcraft bring to mind?

How we spent our Christmas.

Thank god that is over is all I’m saying.

I hope everyone had a great break. You may notice I was quick to ditch the holiday theme and clean up the decorations. I never really got into the mood, and was anxious to try out this Parisian poster-inspired design.

Did anyone do anything interesting? Get any cool gifts? Do share!

None of the above were in my Christmas… Maybe that’s why it’s been so crappy… ;-)

LOVE the background of this new template, btw

My Christmas included vodka, strawberry wine and Texas Hold ‘Em. A good time had by all. :-)

Bailys, Scones, pot roast, an ice cream maker for my kitchen aid, and a cordless glue gun. It was fantastic.

I like the new design, it is actually much more festive than a holiday design.
My Christmas ivolved a lot of beer, football and bowling.

Mom and Dad paid for my Netflix for a year. I couldn’t be happier. I didn’t want anything that I had to carry home on the plane.

Dutchy - Well have a nice big shot and a dye job for New Years, maybe things will start to look up!

Miss Britt - Thanks! I made it myself! I want to go to your place next year.

Ginamonster - Those sound like the ingredients necessary for a Martha Stewart project from hell.

Killer - Isn’t football and bowling a bit difficult after the 5th or 6th beer?

Mist - Aah.. the gift that keeps on giving. Fantastic.

[...] Returning back to normal Now that the holidays are over everything is slowly returning back to some normalcy. While I didn’t have the wild hair dying party that Jester and UMB did. But I have to say I had one of the best holidays I have had in a long time. I think the key was the general lack of drama at both family gatherings I went too. The day before X-mas I went to my aunts house where my mother and he boyfriend were there. Before we got to opening presents my mother gave me something really nice. She gave me most of the pictures from when I was little. I didn’t get to look at them then, but when I got home Chuck and I spent the night going through them. We got to see me through all the ugly glasses. When I was a cute little tike and all the horrible pictures from those awkward jr high school years. Chuck even told me I was a little hottie when it came to my high school pictures. That sure did make me feel good. Christmas day we spent with his family. There were only 6 of us at the house. So it was much like our Sunday dinners, but this time with gifts. It was a nice quiet family holiday. I have to say it was actually a pleasure. Posted by Daniel Nowak on December 28th, 2006 [...]
