Jester: so i got word back. they hooked us up with two rooms in an 1800’s hotel across the street from town hall.
Lisa: for free?
Jester: yep
Lisa: nice
Jester: i’ve always wanted to stay in one of these old hotels
Lisa: what’s it called?
Jester: no idea. It’s THE Hotel. :D
Lisa: is it going to be like old times…will there be a bedpan and a vase filled with water? ;)
Jester: Hopefully they didn’t get those two items reversed.

Lisa: is it perhaps because it is the only one of all those things?
Jester: That would be my guess
Lisa: so funny
Jester: there’s a band playing there the same night we’re across the street called the Motss Brothers
Lisa: what do they play?
Jester: Don’t know.. but wayyyyyy back in the early days of the internet (before your time!) the only way gay people could find each other on mailing lists was too look for the word “motss”
Lisa: HA
Jester: it meant Members of the same sex.
Lisa: that is funny
Jester: hysterical really
Lisa: you think they knew that?
Jester: i’ll have to sneak over and check them out :D I don’t know.. I sure don’t think anyone has the last name Motss

Jester: Check this out: Please do be aware you are staying in an Historic Inn - our walls are thin, the street noise will effect rooms located street side and we are without TVs and Phones in upstairs rooms- hopefully you are here to step back in time and enjoy what we are and have to offer.

Am I the only one that does’t like ANY of John Mayer’s songs? I really think his music is stupid… come on. “I wanna run through the hall of my high school…I wanna scream at the top of my lungs…”

Too funny. A few years ago my boyfriend and I went to this romantic B&B in the mountains in NH. When you walked in he room there was a framed card saying something like “Welcome to this old Inn. Our walls are paper thin. Anything you say or do. You neighbors will hear you.” (a bit more eloquently of course). The first night we heard some crazy sexy time from the next room…..and in the morning we met the 70 year old couple making the noise. YUCK!

Mr. Fabulous - I can’t believe I’ve stricken you speechless. I wasn’t sure that was possible. I may have to mark this on the calender.

Crail - Either way I’d give him a ride.

Absurdist - It was really necessary. I’m not here to give you puppy dogs and baby seals. I like John Mayer, especially his blues stuff with the Trio. The poppy schmaltzy stuff isn’t even that bad. Except for that Daughters song. I hate that song.

Mel-O-Drama - I’m pretty sure Glaxosmithkine makes a pill for EVERYTHING. What I’m not sure about (since I’m not an expert on the subject) is a screaming vagina a good thing or a bad thing?

NEXT weekend though, I’ll be in Sac attending the sacred city roller derby bout in roseville…

that suit is wrong on any and every person. just wrong.

i’m not a huge fan of john mayer, but i don’t hate him either. he just is.

i love thin walls at hotels. coz i am not quiet. and i sort of enjoy others to know that i am getting it good. yes, i have issues. i think admitting it is the first step, right?
