If you missed it, the Senate passed a bill yesterday that not only TRAMPLES on the Bill of Rights, it laughs in the face of the Geneva Conventions. اذا كنت تفوت عليه ، أقر مجلس الشيوخ مشروع قانون امس ان لا يدوس على قانون الحقوق ، وهي تضحك في وجه من اتفاقيات جنيف. There’sa great article written by Molly Ivins that does much to explain exactly what this bill does. هنالك كبيرة المقال الذي كتبه موللي Ivins ان الكثير هل لشرح مشروع القانون هذا بالضبط ما لا. I am sick of the “religious right.” I am sick of this dysfunctional bi-partisan system. أنا مريض من "الحق الديني." انا مريض من هذا المختله وظيفيا بين الطائفتين النظام الحزبي. That the President does NOT have the right to start wars, name enemy combatants, detain and TORTURE anyone he deems worthy. ان رئيس الجمهورية ليس من حقه ان تبدأ الحروب ، اسم المقاتلين الاعداء ، والتعذيب واحتجاز اي شخص يراه جديرا. That he DOES have to have a search warrant to listen to our phone calls, read our emails, arrest us or otherwise wipe his ass with the Constitution. انه لا يجب ان يكون له امر تفتيش للاستماع الى المكالمات الهاتفية لدينا ، أقرأ رسائل البريد الإلكتروني ، أو إلقاء القبض علينا وألا يزيل صاحب الحمار مع الدستور.
I am really sorry for everyone who lost a loved one in the attacks on September 11. انا فعلا آسف للجميع من فقدوا احد الاحبه فى هجمات 11 سبتمبر. I really am. انا حقا صباحا. It was devastating, and awful and worthy of revenge. وكان مدمرا ، والمرعب وتستحق الانتقام.

Our government is failing us. وحكومتنا لا علينا. Miserably. ذريعا. And what’s worse, we sit around talking about it… watching bobbleheads run their mouths on any one of our 500 cable channels… but no one is DOING ANYTHING! وما هو اسوأ من ذلك ، ونحن نجلس حول الكلام عنها… مشاهدة bobbleheads افواههم البعيد عن أي واحد من 500 قنوات الكابل… لكن احدا لا يفعل شيئا!

The entire world fell apart. العالم كله انهار. Called for and received his impeachment. ودعا الى اقالة وردت له.
Where are those people now? اين هؤلاء الناس الآن؟ How much more will they let Bush get away with? وكم من بوش واسمحوا انهم سوف تفلت من العقاب؟ How long before the Democrats grow spines and put a stop to this shit? كيف يمضي وقت طويل قبل ان تنمو والديموقراطيون الاعمده الفقريه ووضع حد لهذه اللعنه؟ How long before even the Republicans become embarrassed? كيف يمضي وقت طويل قبل ان تصبح حتى الجمهوريون حرجا؟
To my foreign readers, I am ashamed. لخارجية بلدي القراء ، وانا بالخجل. I am ashamed that we are the unfunny joke of the world. انا يخجل باننا غير مضحك نكتة من العالم. I am ashamed that we are pushing an idea of democracy all over the planet, when our own is NOT WORKING. انا بالخجل اننا دفع فكرة عن الديمقراطيه في جميع انحاء المعموره ، عندما منطقتنا لا تعمل.
I guess the bright spot is that within two years, we will no longer have a democracy to worry about. فان اعتقد ان نقطة مضيءه في غضون سنتين ، ونحن لن يكون تقلق على الديمقراطيه.
And just because it’s not posted enough, and not read enough, and not committed to memory… I’d like to include here the text of the first ten amendments to the Constitution, aka, The Bill of Rights: وفقط لأنه ليس على الشبكه بما فيه الكفايه ، وليس ما يكفي من يقرأ ، وغير ملتزم الذاكرة… ويهمني ان اشير هنا الى نص تشمل الدول العشر الأولى على ادخال تعديلات على الدستور ، اكا ، وقانون الحقوق :
Amendment I التعديل الاول
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. الكونغرس يتخذ اي احترام للقانون مؤسسة دينية ، أو يمنع الممارسه الحرة ؛ الاختصار او حرية التعبير ، أو الصحافة ، أو حق الشعب في التجمع السلمي ، وتقديم التماس الى الحكومة للحصول على الأنصاف من المظالم .
Amendment II التعديل الثاني
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. أ ميليشيات منظمة تنظيما جيدا ، ضروريه لامن الدولة الحرة ، وحق الشعب في ان تبقى وحمل السلاح ، لا يجوز انتهاكه.
Amendment III التعديل الثالث
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law. لا يجوز جندي ، في وقت السلم ان ايوائهم في اي منزل ، دون موافقة المالك ، كما في وقت الحرب ، ولكن بطريقة تكون المنصوص عليها في القانون.
Amendment IV التعديل الرابع
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. وحق الشعب في ان تكون آمنة في اشخاصهم ، والمنازل ، ورقات ، والآثار ، من غير المعقول ضد عمليات التفتيش والضبط ، لا يجوز ان تنتهك ، ويصدر أي أوامر ، ولكن بناء على السبب المحتمل ، بدعم من اليمين او التأكيد ، ولا سيما وصف المكان الذي سيجري تفتيشه ، والأشخاص أو الأشياء التي ستجري مصادرتها.
Amendment V التعديل الخامس
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation. لا يجوز لأي شخص ان يكون للاجابة على عقد لرأس المال ، او خلاف ذلك الشاءنه الجريمة ، ما لم يكن على التقديم او لائحة اتهام من هيئة محلفين كبرى ، الا في الحالات التي تنشأ في القوات البرية او البحرية ، او في المليشيا ، عندما في خدمة فعلية في الوقت المناسب لل الحرب او الخطر العام ؛ ولا يجوز لأي شخص ان تخضع لنفس الجريمة مرتين الى ان تعرض للخطر حياة أو طرف ، ولا يجوز إجبار في أية قضية جناءيه الى ان يكون شاهدا ضد نفسه ، ولا ان يحرم من الحياة او الحرية او الممتلكات ، دون اتباع الاجراءات القانونية الواجبه ، ولا يجوز ان تؤخذ الملكيه الخاصة للاستخدام العام ، بدون تعويض عادل.
Amendment VI التعديل السادس
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense. في جميع المحاكمات الجناءيه ، للمتهم الحق في التمتع في محاكمة سريعه وعلنيه ، من قبل هيئة محلفين غير متحيزه من الولايه والمقاطعه فيها الجريمة قد ارتكبت ، والتي مقاطعة قد سبق التأكد من جانب القانون ، والى ان تكون على علم طبيعه وسبب الاتهام ؛ لا بد أن تتصدى لها مع شهود الاتهام ؛ الزاميه لعملية الحصول على شهود لصالحه ، والحصول على مساعدة من محام لدفاعه.
Amendment VII التعديل السابع
In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law. في الدعاوى في القانون العام ، حيث تكون القيمه في الخلاف يجوز ان يتجاوز عشرين دولارا ، والحق في المحاكمه امام هيئة محلفين يجب الحفاظ عليها ، وحقيقة لا وجود لجنة محلفين محاكمة ، يجب ان يكون الأمر غير مفحوص ثانية في أي محكمة من الولايات المتحدة ، وفقا لأكثر من من قواعد القانون العام.
Amendment VIII التعديل الثامن
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. الافراط في الافراج عنه بكفالة لا يجوز مطالبه ، ولا الافراط في الغرامات المفروضة ، أو العقوبات القاسيه وغير العاديه يلحق.
Amendment IX التعديل التاسع
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people. تعداد في الدستور ، من بعض الحقوق ، لا يجوز ان يؤول على انه نفي أو الحط من الاخرين الاحتفاظ به الناس.
Amendment X التعديل العاشر
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. السلطات التى لم تفوض الى الولايات المتحدة بموجب الدستور ، ولا يحظرها الى الدول ، يحتفظ بها للولايات على التوالي ، أو الى الشعب.
