We had a few weeks break after the initial rehearsals together. لقد اجرينا خلال الاسابيع القليلة الأولى بعد فترة انقطاع تدريبات معا. Jerimy and Doug went back to Oklahoma, and I continued my daily existence at the radio station and with Mama Sharon Kasserman. Sharon’s elderly mother lived across the hall from us. شارون وكبار السن يعيشون آلام عبر قاعة منا. She was a cross between Sophia Petrillo from the “Golden Girls” and that crotchety old woman who played the mother on “The Five Mrs Buchanan’s.”*** وقالت انها كانت بين صوفيا petrillo عبر عن "الفتيات الذهبي" وأوهامي ان امرأة تبلغ من العمر من لعب على الام "الخمسة السيدة بوكانان لل."***

Everyone received a package in the mail from Delious containing cassettes of the songs that we would be recording for our showcase demo package for Atlantic Records. الجميع الواردة في مجموعة من delious البريد الالكتروني التي تحتوي على اشرطه الكاسيت للأغاني ونود ان يكون لدينا معرض للتسجيل تجريبي لمجموعة الاطلسي السجلات. We had a conference call a few days afterwards for everyone to figure out what parts they would be singing, when to take a lead and other production notes. وقد عقدنا المؤتمر الدعوة الى بضعة أيام بعد ذلك الجميع الى الرقم ما تكون اجزاء والغناء ، وعندما يؤدي الى اتخاذ الانتاج وغيرها من الملاحظات. During this period, I began talking to Jerimy and Doug on the phone more often, they would call and ask me questions about what to expect next, how the recording process would work, and what life in Nashville is like. وخلال هذه الفترة ، بدا لي ان يتحدث الى ودوغ jerimy على الهاتف في اغلب الاحيان ، وأنها تدعو لي ان اسأل الاسءله بشأن ما يمكن ان يتوقعوه المقبل ، وكيفية العمل من شأنه ان عملية التسجيل ، والحياة في ناشفيل ما أشبه. Most of the time though, we would just talk about life in general, and got to know each other pretty well. معظم الوقت ومع ذلك ، نود ان مجرد الحديث عن الحياة بشكل عام ، وتعرف على بعضها البعض وجميلة ايضا.

I wasn’t exactly open about being gay yet. انني لم أكن مفتوحة تماما عن مثلي الجنس ويجري حتى الان. Yes, some people knew at work, but that wasn’t because I told them … but at some point in my conversations with Jerimy, I told him that I am gay. نعم ، أعرف ان بعض الناس في العمل ، لكن ذلك كان بسبب عدم وقلت لهم… ولكن عند نقطة ما في محادثاتي مع jerimy ، قلت له انني مثلي الجنس. He told me that his favorite uncle is gay, and I didn’t have anything to worry about with his attitude toward me. قال لى ان العم هي المفضلة لديه مثلي الجنس ، وأنا لم يكن لدي اي شيء تقلق مع موقفه تجاه لي. I have to admit that I was quite surprised by his reaction. لا بد لي ان اعترف انني فوجئت تماما رد فعل من قبل. I expected more of a… well… Oklahoma Teenage Boy Freak Out. ^TM كنت اتوقع اكثر من اوكلاهوما…… بالاضافة الى نزوه من أصل الفتى في سن المراهقه. ^TM

Jerimy thought it would be best if he told Doug, though. Jerimy يعتقد انه سيكون من الافضل اذا قال دوغ ، على الرغم.

* Sharon claims this term is just a fancy way of saying “Professional Zit Popper.” * شارون المطالبات هذا المصطلح ما هو الا وسيلة من الهوى وقال "من الفئة الفنية zit بوبر".

** I just realized that I really should have written a character synopsis before I got into this story. ** انا فقط ادركت ان لي حقا ينبغي ان يكون ذا طابع خلاصة مكتوبة قبل صعودي الى هذه القصة. Too late now. الان بعد فوات الاوان. I’ll introduce you to Hoss soon. أنا أعرفكم على الحص في وقت قريب.

*** Eileen Heckart. *** ايلين heckart. Why does no one else remember this show? لماذا ليس لأحد غيرهم أن نتذكر أن هذا العرض؟

Hoss and Mama Sharon? الحص وماما شارون؟ Is this story turning into the Dukes of Hazzard all of a sudden? في هذه القصة هو ان يتحول الدوقات من hazzard مفاجئة للجميع؟ If you begin to introdue characters named Enos, Cletus, or Cooter I may have to call Bullshit! اذا كنت ابدأ introdue احرف اسمه لاينوس ، cletus ، او ربما اكون قد Cooter الدعوة الى الهراء!
