Damn good coverage! I wish I was there to assist with CAM2. It is a shame things have gotten to this, but history will repeat itself in one form or another until changes happen. Until then, we cover and record history as it happens in its new form. Good work.
I can’t decide whether to join in the hatred or be appalled. A large part of my being is leaning toward the later, but if it wasn’t for fighting back, equal rights would not be where they are today. I was angered by the outcome of prop 8 but living in Missouri I have lost hope on any equal standing in my state.

You know, the best way to handle your frustration is to simply respect the will of people and their convictions about gay marriage! You are not going to be able to change people’s mind are you? Isn’t that what you guys have said to me concerning having a belief in God, etc?
Then put your own “sermon” into practice. How does it look for a bunch of gay men shoving a little old lady in California because she had a Yes on Prop 8 sign? Who in their right mind would attack somebody’s Grandmother because they’re mad?
So much for the “tolerance” preaching by the gay community. The truth is America is seeing “hate” speech and “intolerance” comming from the gay community, not the church community!
This is about convictions and values, and all of us have these, and we may not agree on them, but give other people the same “rights” to say “No! we don’t want Gay Marriage”. By the way, perhaps your community to need to consider Elton John’s counsel on the issue and seek “Civil Unions” because the marriage thing isn’t going to work! I would caution the gay community’s militant stance as there are plenty of gang members who are just waiting for an opportunity to make examples of some of these people as they are really hated by gang members, especially Latino gang members!

The gay community is going around beating up little old ladies, invading churches, attacking churches and other people who don’t believe in gay marriage, and yet they have the audacity to make the claim that Christians and others are “hate-mongers” and “intolerant”. What a complete farce.
Even gay people have come out against the reaction to these silly men who are in the streets parading around like little girls whining! They do not even understand that they are the very ones that are hurting the cause of the gay agenda. Yes, I make lots of sense to people who are thinking people!
That is why the gay community ALWAYS loses on the issues and especially at the ballot box!

The very book that you quote to condemn homosexuality was used to keep slaves. It has been used to oppress women, children, member of other religious faiths. Jester is right… people like The Dr have not changed nor will they change any minds. This is only about one thing and that’s equality for all… everyone. Religion getting shoved into the laws of this country, expecting everyone to play by their rules. The majority thinks they can rule, but time will show as it has in the past, that they are wrong. The rights of everyone should be protected, with no place for discrimination of any kind.
Sad it’s come to these religious freaks thinking all they have to do is pray and they can change people. Pray if you want, but do it in your own home and backyard without trying to inject change to something you feel you need to control.
My hope is that everything will find it’s way to being resolved and the right for all tax-paying citizens will be extended.

i had so hoped the discrimation that i witnessed by just being a “straight girl in a gay world” had passed and was over
i so remember the fear in my friends eyes and the terror i felt when traveling around the country with “my gays” and in my SUV which had a “gay nudist” and “i’m straight but not narrow” stickers
i can tell i need to get new stickers for my present vehicle and get my concelled carry permit renewed
oh wait, my racist brother has prevented me from carring my pistol
just keep a rainbow colored “egg” around you and to protect you and know that God will protect you from the idiots and God will punish the racist and ignorant people

My heart was pounding when I was watching the video. It was a Friday night, and I could only imagine how much alcohol was in their system, I’ll bet they (the people of the Castro) did everything that those people (the Christian people) wrote about.
