Dizzy

I’d really like to write something marking the historic election I witnessed last night. I’d really like to talk about the outrage I feel that the same state that has always stood for progressive social issues and the rights of all has been overtaken by the Mormons and their evil lies.

I’d like to write about how the fight over Prop 8 isn’t over yet, as there are millions of uncounted ballots still to tally, and no doubt a legal battle over recounts etc.

But I’m still really dizzy from the procedure this morning. I still have no real answers, but may be closer to finding out what is wrong with me.

I’ll fill you in when the room stops spinning.

  1. I hope it’s figure out soon so you can start feeling better! Get lots of rest!

I think it sucks ass Prop 8 is where it is right now. I hope it works out for a No on Prop 8.

  2. Best wishes to you. hope the dizziness stops, and I hope The Doctor/ The Thing stays away. Isn’t he scared he’ll catch “the gay” on your blog? Wait – maybe that’s why he keeps coming back!
Seriously – I hope things work out. Both things. xo

Sybil Laws last blog post..Mmmm… Spam

  3. Jest my man:

I hate to disappoint you, but the State Secretary of State has already certified the votes..even the absentee ballots, as having been counted, and have concluded that the measure pass with 52% Yes to 48% no.

Yes, there is a frivolous lawsuit that will not get anywhere! This thing is over Jest, you guys just need to respect the will of the people! Your group spent over 40 million trying to defeat the proposition, and then when it loses, they want to turn to the Courts to have activist Judges overturn the will of the people. How sad. Its not going to work. Yes, I remain The Thing!

On last Saturday, over 65,000 people were inside the Jack Murphry Stadium (San Diego Chargers) praying and crying out to God to move on the hearts of the people to do what they knew was the correct thing to do, and God answered those prayers. They even prayed for the gay community, that God would be merciful!

    The Doctor!

  4. Sodapop – I should get the biopsy results back in the next couple of days.

Martymankins – Thank you. Hope to hear soon.

    SJ – I’m trying!

Sybil – I think it’s clear that The Doctor doesn’t have nearly the problems with homosexuality as he claims.

    Sarah – No kidding.

The Doctor – Final numbers were 51%. And the lawsuit isn’t frivolous. The drafters of the proposition circumvented their duty to present the amendment to the legislature before it could be voted on by the public. The proposition was likely invalid on its face. And I swear to your God the phrase “activist Judge” makes me want to hurl. It is not “activism” to read the constitution as protective of all citizens… attempting to strip the rights of a portion of those citizens IS activism.
