Absurdist – I don’t know why we bother asking “How are you?” anyway. Does anyone ever answer that question truthfully or grammatically?
regarding the “how are you?” question…i almost always reply “getting better!” simply because it does make my mood a tad better and is therefore a correct answer…
Could have been worse… could have been that they were wanting English to be the ofecal language of the United States.

dude, they need to realize that we speak “American” and NOT “English”. Seriously.
We can’t even use adverbs anymore. “I’m good.” instead of “I’m well.”
