This isn’t easy for me to say… I have failed, my internet friends. I set out with one firm goal in mind for this show: to fully indoctrinate Dave from Blogography into the Pink Army.
He didn’t take to it.
In fact, there was a deadly uncomfortable silence when I asked Dave about his homosexual past.
I’m not used to failure.
I do know that I have no intention of giving up.
We hit on so many freaking topics that I don’t even know how to recap this show. We revisited “Dead Hooker Babies,” death threats, goth stalkers, assless jeans, and the beauty of San Francisco’s public dress code. We covered the addictive nature of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, ALA’s, and how PC the term “alternative lifestyle” really is.
At some point the BlogTalkRadio police came in to declare that my show was incorrectly labeled. It needed to be labled “Adult Only” presumably because of the use of the word “Fag” which was completely legitimate in the context of the conversation. Since we got labeled as such, we spent the rest of the show making sure that we lived up to the “Adult Only” tag by discussing blowjobs, and my need to carry two giant bottles of lube everywhere I go. You know, just in case.
Hilly and Shiny called in to join Dave, Lee, Sly, and myself for a little “Whose Line Is It Anyway” game that turned out to be a lot of fun.
