Hey all – I know everyone here is aware of Bianca and have interacted with her at least in passing. She posted the following message on her blog yesterday:
Hey y’all. I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I’m not going to blog for a while. There is a new and extreme source of grief in my life, and I feel like the wind has been knocked out of me, and I have no desire to be frivolous in this place. I will be back eventually, though, so don’t give up on me completely.
I’m still around, though, so you can always email me if you feel like reaching out.
I’m not sure what’s going on, but if you would like to click over and show her some love, or drop her an email of support that would be way cool.
I don’t know her in person, but we’ve been writing to each other for a long time now and I consider her to be a good friend nonetheless.

That’s a blog I haven’t read before – sounds like something pretty monumental has happened.
Avitable – She’s been a regular contributor here for a long time, and she contributes to my music site also. She hasn’t alluded to anyone around her being ill or anything, so whatever has happened, has happened quite suddenly.
