Someone is going home tonight. I’m hoping that it will be Sanjaya, but I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that he will be sticking around.
Lakisha’s safe, so is Gina.
Brandon’s up… uh oh… he’s in the bottom three.
Jordin won’t be joining him. Neither will Chris Richardson.
Melinda had better be safe. Of course she is.
Phil Stacey is in the bottom three. I don’t think he deserved that.
Chris Sligh is safe, despite his shitty cover of “Endless Love.”
Stephanie is back next week, along with Blake.
Haley and Sanjaya are left hanging until after the break. I think Haley’s going to be ok tonight… she likely got a shitload of sympathy votes from her breakdown last night. Leaving Sanjaya to round out the bottom three.
I think Brandon is most likely to be packing up his bags tonight. He completely blew it last night, and he has yet to wow the audience. I think he has the potential, but has been unable to deliver.
Ok, we’re back for the insanely stupid American Idol Challenge. Duh, the answer is Carrie Underwood.
Diana Ross takes the stage looking like a giant red bird. She asks everyone to sing along to “More Today Than Yesterday.” I’d sing along, but I prefer to sing in tune. She’s sharp, way sharp, through most of the song. I love Ms. Ross, but this was not a great performance. Ryan asked her, “Who’s going home?” She responded, “Me.”
Excellent.
And of course another commercial break.
After the break, Haley is safe and Sanjaya makes his way to the bottom three. All guys.
Phil Stacey is sent back to the couch, he’s not in the bottom two, leaving Brandon and Sanjaya.
And Brandon Rogers is voted off the show. Sanjaya moves back to the couch to assault our ears for another week.
And here they are the remaining 11:
